Das RUSIO-3224-Modul verfügt über 32 universelle sichere E/A-Kanäle mit konfigurierbaren Kanalfunktionen, wobei die Konfiguration über die Safety Builder-Software verwaltet wird. Dieses Modul ist für die Anforderungen von Anwendungen bis SIL 3 konzipiert und entspricht den Sicherheitsstandards IEC 61508/61511.

Um eine redundante Konfiguration zu erreichen, sind zwei RUSIO-3224-Module erforderlich.

Alle Kanäle werden über die 24-V-Gleichstromversorgung mit Strom versorgt. Jeder Kanal kann individuell konfiguriert werden als:

  • Digitaler Eingang (mit oder ohne Schleifenüberwachung)
  • Digitaler Ausgang (mit Schleifenüberwachung)
  • Analogeingang (0-20 mA oder 4-20 mA aktiv)
  • Analogausgang (0-20 mA oder 4-20 mA aktiv)
