Experion LCN Innovation: The Experion LCN continues to innovate for Honeywell customers by leveraging the proven Experion Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) infrastructure. A new Experion Local Control Network (ELCN) Bridge connects Experion to Classic COAX LCN. Once this connection is established, Classic LCN COAX-based nodes can be replaced with FTE-based Experion LCN nodes, facilitating the removal of these nodes one at a time. With Experion LCN, users can retain existing control strategies, field terminations, applications, history, and graphics, allowing them to focus on high-value improvements. This approach minimizes operating disruptions, maintains overall consistency, and offers optional lifecycle advantages with virtualization.
